Eaton’s Cutler-Hammer Meter Sockets are available in both ring and ringless styles and are all UL labeled. Each utility determines meter socket requirements per local codes, and we offer a variety of designs to meet virtually any local utility specification. Meter sockets are used where the electricity enters the home, and the electric utility meter fits in the socket to measure user consumption. Watt-hour meters are not included with Cutler-Hammer’s meter sockets, but are provided by your local utility company. Our meter sockets have a limited one-year warranty.
